A simply dressed widow returns to her hometown for Christmas with her three "ordinary" children, only to be humiliated and bullied by her snobbish father and vain sister's family, who dismiss her as a poor, destitute widow. But strange things keep happening — that "fake watch" on her wrist causes a state-of-the-art appraisal device to crash instantly; the casual gifts she brings turn out to be a Malibu beach house; with just one phone call, a billionaire executive is fired on the spot; even the town mayor has to stand at attention respectfully when he meets her daughter.Who is she really? And what earth-shattering secrets are these three "good-for-nothing" children hiding?
