Chloe, a former investmentbanking prodigy with a fullride Wharton scholarship, gave up her career to marry into the wealthy Hale family. After five years of selfeffacing devotion, she receives nothing but suspicion, humiliation and pressure to divorce. Pregnant, she is branded a “family jinx” and offered only a paltry payout to leave. Trapped in desperation, she hears the mystical inner voice of Tyche, goddess of opportunity dwelling within her womb, who can foresee future events.
