Guarded by Mother's Love

Tang Juan and Su Jinrou are half-sisters. Tang Juan, resentful of being the child of a mistress, plots a car accident to switch her daughter with Su Jinrou's daughter. After the accident, Su Jinrou becomes a vegetative state, but her consciousness exists outside her body, powerless to stop her daughter from facing a tragic fate. Seven years later, Su Jinrou's daughter, Xiao Yu, suffers cruel treatment at the Tao Yong family’s hands, while Tang Juan remains heartless, even attempting to harm Xiao Yu to preserve her own daughter, Xichen's, privileged status. Tang Juan also manipulates a paternity test and kidnaps both children, forcing Gu Yunting to choose. Su Jinrou’s soul desperately protects Xiao Yu. Miraculously, Su Jinrou awakens, stops Tang Juan’s evil actions, and both Tang Juan and Tao Yong are punished. Ten years later, Xiao Yu grows up strong, while Xichen suffers from cognitive impairment due to family turmoil.
