Making Waves in My Rival's Embrace

In her past life, Xia Xinyu was engaged to Gu Yunzhou, but Zheng Han, hoping her family would help pay his gambling debts, schemed to make her fall for him. Believing Zheng Han’s lies, Xia Xinyu viewed Gu Yunzhou—who truly loved her—as a bitter rival, even breaking off the engagement to marry Zheng Han. After being reborn, Xia Xinyu resolves to treat Gu Yunzhou well and make up for the regret of cutting ties with her family for Zheng Han in her previous life. Gu Yunzhou’s view of her softens slightly; while still believing she loves Zheng Han, he can’t help responding to her teasing. Together, they seek revenge on Zheng Han, uncover evidence of his crimes, and ultimately send him to prison.
