Wrong Jacket, Right Girl: I Know What You Did Last Halloween

I was walking home from my Halloween shift in a fox mask when a black pickup came out of the fog and hit a man in a bear costume. The driver got out, knelt beside him, and then drove away. She was Logan McCallahan, star quarterback and the most photographed girl in the state. So I left a note on her windshield: I know what you did. Say it. Please. Now someone else is leaving notes, and they don’t say please. The bear costume is missing, and someone in it knows my name. And the girl I’m hunting just told her darkest secret to a stranger in a fox mask. She has no idea it was me.
